“Are Black Folks Crazy?” Secret Meeting was CANCELED because “Scientology” had a problem with some of the information.

To Skid Row,
As many of you know by now, last night’s “Are Black Folks Crazy?” Secret Meeting was CANCELED because “Scientology” had a problem with some of the information.
In what was to be a “Tell-All Town Hall” meeting in which many truths about African-American’s and mental illness were to be discussed in front of an anticipated “standing room only” crowd inside of Scientology’s Community Center deep in South Central Los Angeles, after a heated discussion behind closed doors, organizers canceled the event only minutes prior to the official time that the doors were to open for the meeting. Skid Row community activist General Jeff, one of the event’s organizers, stated that “Our(African-American’s) position as well as the information we are providing will not be compromised for any individual or organization regardless of whether they let us use their building or not!”.
Apparently “Scientology” does not want to offer an official public response, but if anyone wishes to know more, please feel free to contact them directly!
The meeting was to publicly share information on the statewide African-American CRDP (California Reducing Disparities Population Report), which is funded through the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA). After first releasing the information July 17th of this year, Dr. Diane Woods, Lead Researcher for the project, has traveled all over the State of California sharing the same information during various public meetings in all 58 counties in California, including Butte County, Alameda County, Los Angeles County and San Diego County.
There was nothing different about the information for this meeting, but Scientology had a problem with it. There are many more questions that need to be asked!!!
That said, “thank you” goes out to all those who came and supported. Unfortunately, this meeting will NOT be rescheduled!!
